1. Introduction and scope
AI Earnings Inc. ("we," "us," or "our") respects your privacy and is committed to protecting personal information in accordance with the Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA) and applicable Ontario privacy principles. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, why we collect it, how we use and disclose it, how long we retain it, and what rights you have.
This policy applies to personal information collected through aiearnings.pro, our enrolment and contact processes, in-person and online training delivery, and related communications. It does not apply to third-party websites linked from our pages. We encourage you to review their privacy practices separately.
By using our website, submitting a contact form, or enrolling in a course, you acknowledge that you have read this Privacy Policy. Where consent is required under PIPEDA, we obtain it through explicit checkboxes and clear notices — never through pre-checked boxes.
2. Accountability
We designate privacy accountability within AI Earnings Inc. Questions, complaints, and access requests should be directed to our privacy contact at [email protected] or by mail to 999 Canada Place, Suite 1900, Vancouver, BC V6C 3E1, Canada. We will respond to verified requests within thirty days unless an extension is permitted under PIPEDA.
If you are not satisfied with our response, you may contact the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada at www.priv.gc.ca or 1-800-282-1376.
3. Information we collect
3.1 Information you provide directly
When you contact us, register for a cohort, or purchase a self-paced module, we may collect: full name; email address; telephone number; mailing address; employer or business name (optional); programme preferences; payment-related information processed by our payment provider (we do not store full credit card numbers on our servers); messages and correspondence; and PIPEDA consent records including date and method of consent.
3.2 Information collected automatically
When you visit our website, we may automatically collect: IP address; browser type and version; device type; operating system; referring URL; pages viewed and time spent; and cookie identifiers as described in our Cookie Policy. Essential cookies support site functionality. Analytics cookies are used only with your consent.
3.3 Training and course data
During courses, we may collect assignment submissions, participation records, assessment feedback, and capstone folio materials you choose to share for instructor review. These materials may contain business or client-related content that you submit voluntarily. We treat such content as confidential within the training context.
4. Purposes of collection and use
We collect and use personal information only for purposes that a reasonable person would consider appropriate in the circumstances. Primary purposes include:
- Responding to enquiries and providing customer support
- Processing enrolments, payments, and cohort administration
- Delivering vocational AI income skills training and issuing participation certificates
- Sending course schedules, materials, and service-related notices
- Improving our website, programmes, and user experience
- Complying with legal, tax, and regulatory obligations in Canada
- Protecting against fraud, abuse, and security incidents
We do not sell personal information. We do not use your data for unrelated marketing without separate consent. We will not use personal information for purposes materially different from those described without notifying you and obtaining consent where required.
5. Legal basis and consent
Under PIPEDA, we rely on your knowledge and consent for the collection, use, and disclosure of personal information, except where the law permits collection without consent. Implied consent may apply in limited circumstances — for example, when you provide your business card to request course information. Express consent is required for sensitive uses and for non-essential cookies.
You may withdraw consent at any time, subject to legal or contractual restrictions and reasonable notice. Withdrawal may limit our ability to provide certain services — for example, we cannot deliver a cohort programme without your contact information.
6. Disclosure to third parties
We may disclose personal information to:
- Payment processors to complete transactions securely
- Email and communication platforms used to send course materials
- Cloud hosting providers storing data in Canada or other jurisdictions with comparable safeguards
- Professional advisers (lawyers, accountants) bound by confidentiality
- Government authorities when required by law or valid legal process
Third-party service providers may process data outside Canada. When information crosses borders, we require contractual protections consistent with PIPEDA's accountability principle. A list of major subprocessors is available on request.
7. Retention
We retain personal information only as long as necessary to fulfil the purposes for which it was collected, unless a longer period is required by law. Typical retention periods:
- Contact form submissions: twenty-four months from last interaction
- Enrolment and payment records: seven years for tax and accounting compliance
- Course participation records: five years after programme completion
- Cookie consent preferences: six months (renewable upon expiry)
- Analytics data: twenty-six months maximum when analytics cookies are accepted
When retention periods expire, we securely delete or anonymise personal information.
8. Security safeguards
We implement administrative, technical, and physical safeguards appropriate to the sensitivity of the information we hold. Measures include access controls limited to authorised personnel, encrypted connections (HTTPS) for website traffic, secure password policies for internal systems, and vendor security assessments for subprocessors handling personal data.
No method of transmission or storage is completely secure. While we strive to protect your information, we cannot guarantee absolute security. Please notify us immediately at [email protected] if you suspect unauthorised access to your account or data.
9. Your rights under PIPEDA
Subject to limited exceptions, you have the right to:
- Access personal information we hold about you
- Request correction of inaccurate or incomplete information
- Withdraw consent for non-essential processing
- Challenge our compliance with PIPEDA
To exercise these rights, email [email protected] with sufficient detail to verify your identity. We may request additional information to confirm your identity before releasing records.
10. Children and minors
Our courses are designed for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from individuals under eighteen without parental consent. If you believe we have collected information from a minor, contact us and we will delete it promptly.
Parents or guardians who believe a minor has submitted personal information through our contact form or enrolment process should email [email protected] with sufficient detail for us to locate and remove the record.
11. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy to reflect changes in our practices or legal requirements. The "Last updated" date at the top indicates the most recent revision. Material changes will be posted on this page. Where changes materially affect how we use personal information already collected, we will provide additional notice — for example by email to enrolled participants or a prominent banner on our website — and obtain fresh consent where PIPEDA requires it.
We encourage you to review this policy periodically. Previous versions may be available on request for a reasonable period after updates are published.
Questions about how this policy applies to a specific enrolment or data request should be directed to our privacy contact with your full name and the email address used during registration so we can locate your records efficiently.
12. Cross-border transfers
Some subprocessors may store or process personal information in the United States or other jurisdictions. When information crosses borders, we require contractual clauses and security standards consistent with PIPEDA's accountability principle. We assess vendors periodically and maintain a record of processing locations available on request to enrolled participants and enquiry contacts who provide verified identity.
13. Breach notification
If a breach of security safeguards creates a real risk of significant harm, we will notify affected individuals and the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada as required by law. Notifications will describe the nature of the breach, types of information involved, steps we are taking, and recommended actions you may take to reduce potential harm.
